Welcome to Moss Croft Country Kennels - a purpose-built, 10-suite home-from-home for your dogs. It is the culmination of my lifelong wish to design, build and run a bespoke, individual-focussed retreat for dogs while their Parents are away or unable to be with them, whatever the reason.
The build standard is as you would find in most homes, with uPVC doors and windows throughout and individually-controlled underfloor heating in the sleep areas to keep them cosy when the temperatures are reluctant to rise. There are different textures in each area of their suite – warm quarry tiles or resin flooring in the sleep areas, a concrete patio under cover of the roof outside and an area of astro turf for those who prefer a garden environment.
There are no clanging metal gates, confined spaces or extended time on their own. At Moss Croft, we believe that natural light, fresh air, exercise and companionship will smooth the transition from home life to holiday home. We have installed a modern, HD-quality CCTV system so they are not out of sight during our quiet times, and there are 9 acres to explore and rootle about in for the more active times of the day.
We can’t replace you, their Parents, but we can be their Best Friends for the time they’re with us.

For your peace of mind, we have compiled a comprehensive set of terms and conditions which outlines how we do business (best digested sitting comfortably with a cuppa!) When you’ve read through those, we’d ask all new customers to complete the downloadable pack of forms which contains all the information we need to care for your dog most effectively.

We understand it can be an upsetting experience for both Parent and pet to be separated and at Moss Croft Country Kennels we make every effort to ease anxiety when changing homes.
We will arrange a Meet & Greet appointment for you to view the kennel suites and exercise areas. Proof of current vaccinations will be required prior to this visit so your pet can come along too for a really good sniff about before their holiday stay and see what they make of it all.
A popular addition to our quality service portfolio is our Treatment Room! We’ve created a well-equipped, up-to-date, light and airy space in which we can help your pet look and feel fabulous. Our groomers have lots of experience with all shapes and sizes of mucky pups, so if you fancy giving them a special pamper, then give us a call to make an appointment.

Maya is a rescue dog and can take quite a while adjusting to new surroundings and people. So I had my concerns when Maya was going to stay for 6 weeks.
All my concerns were alleviated within hours, when I received photos, videos and texts which reassured me. Maya had settled in extremely quickly and this is purely down to the care, attention and pure dedication that Sarah, Rachel and Ang gave her........ spoilt comes to mind!!
The only worry I had was will Maya want to come home and to be fair I think she had to think about it!
Maya has also had a pampering grooming session with Ang and again Maya was delighted to be back and she left looking fantastic. Bearing in mind I stay 30 miles+, I am more than happy to do the journey as it is lovely and reassuring to see Maya excited to see everyone again."
