The best doesn't need to be expensive

We regularly monitor the myriad influences on our business to ensure we are competitive and offer great value for money. We also believe that what we offer is not widely available and we are unusual in the way we care for our guests. We are dedicated and believe firmly in our commitment to getting to know them as well as we can in the time they are with us. Our rates reflect the market forces and our personal involvement with each dog in our care.

Important things you need to know

Your booking can only be confirmed once a non-refundable deposit of 25% has been received. The outstanding balance should be paid in advance by bank transfer or at drop-off by card or cash (sorry but we are unable to accept cheques). Booking confirmation and outstanding balances may only be considered settled on receipt of cleared funds.

Boarding fees are charged for each day, not per night, and apply from the arrival day up to and including the day of departure. If collection is not made on the pre-agreed final day, boarding fees will be charged for all subsequent days’ stay at the prevailing daily rate.

Cancellations must be made at least 7 days ahead of the first day of your pet’s booking.

All pets are to be vaccinated and current vaccination certificates must accompany each pet. We recommend vaccination for Kennel Cough and this should be at least 21 clear days prior to arrival with us. Proof of all vaccinations may be provided by emailed scanned copy prior to arrival or presented at the time of drop-off. Failure to provide a current vaccination card for EACH pet will prevent them from being accepted for boarding without exception. In this instance, your booking may be cancelled but you will remain liable for the boarding fees in full.

It is now a legal requirement that all dogs are microchipped. We will scan each dog on arrival to confirm the location and serial number of their microchip and these details will be retained for the duration of their stay.

Sufficient food and/or appropriate medication for the duration of the booking may be left with us. You agree to refund any costs associated with obtaining additional supplies, along with a handling fee, payable at the time of collection.

We will accept clean bedding and toys from your pet’s home as this will help them to settle in. We will endeavour to return all belongings but cannot accept responsibility for any damage or loss of belongings during your pet’s stay.

Whilst your pet is in our care, they will be free to exercise off-lead with your signed authorisation in our secure area while under supervision. Otherwise your pet will be kept on a lead at all times when out of their kennel suite.

Your pet must wear an identity tag with your address and telephone number on it whilst staying with us. Your pet will also wear a tag provided by us with our contact details on it.

If your dog becomes aggressive or destructive, we reserve the right to contact your Emergency Contact and request they collect your dog.

Failure to disclose comprehensive information about your pet’s behaviour which subsequently results in an injury, accident or damage will incur additional costs for either repair, restoration or other professional costs (eg : veterinary fees which are not covered by our insurance). Any damage to our premises, other than reasonable wear and tear, will be invoiced to you.

If your pet has any illness or medical condition or, in the case of a bitch, is due or already in season, this must be notified at the time of booking. Full details of any prescribed medication, dosage and dispensing times must also be provided. We reserve the right to refuse admission of a dog which is unwell or has any form of contagious illness or condition, including those due or already in season. Please note : we are unable to accommodate bitches in season at the kennels. If she should come into season during her stay, we will require your dog to be collected by your Emergency Contact as a matter of urgency.

If your pet becomes ill whilst in our care, and our Vet believes that it may be contagious, we may contact your Emergency Contact and request they take your dog into their care.

If your pet becomes ill whilst in our care, and veterinary treatment is required, we will ensure this treatment is provided and any associated veterinary fees, etc, will be for settlement by you at the time of collection.

In the unlikely event your pet should die whilst in our care, we will arrange for their body to be stored with our Vet, and we will make contact with either yourself or your Emergency Contact to advise you. Any additional fees or costs will be for your account.

If you decide to collect your pet before the confirmed end-date of their stay, no refund will be payable.

Should you fail to collect your dog within the time frame set out in Clause 2, your dog will be placed in secure accommodation of an appropriate size to await your arrival.

Failure to collect your dog within 7 days of the due collection date will result in the assumption that you have abandoned them and appropriate arrangements will be made for them to be rehomed or sold on if appropriate, unless we have made contact with you or your Emergency Contact.

All pets are boarded entirely at the risk of their owner or their representative.
